Only this time our trio will be investigating a woman who conceived and gave birth to a chilge in a matter of hours (rather than 9 months) as well as the baby who was born aging 80 years within minutes.

J.J. Abrams’ Fringe was one of the most anticipated shows of 2008, not only because of Abrams’ name attached to it, but because of the sci-fi elements, it was definitely expensive as to make and promote the amount that Fox did. The Fringe Pilot caught the eye of millions and left them wanting more and unable to wait until next weeks episode, but until then, here are promo images and a brief plot outline of the next two episodes: S01E02 “Same Old Story”:

Olivia, along with Peter and Walter Bishop, investigates the strange death of a woman who had an even stranger child. The woman was pregnant for only hours, yet the baby she birthed was fully developed - and also aged eighty years in the span of a few minutes. Olivia asks Nina Sharp of Massive Dynamic for help.

S01E03 “Ghost Network”:

A man who has visions of the future is introduced. He sees a pattern-related terror attack and the team, led by Dr. Bishop, tries to prevent this event from occurring.

Also both episodes will soon be available for Download!

Abrams and crew really outdid themselves this time and I cannot wait till next week!

REMINDER: Season 1 Episode 1 “Pilot” - Sept. 9th

Posted by Tommy On September - 9 - 2008

Episode 1×01 “Pilot” will be airing at 8:00 p.m. EST on Tuesday, September 8th.

“In a nutshell, the pilot follows Fed agent Olivia Dunham (Anna Torv) as she investigates a bizarre apparent terrorist attack on a plane. When one of her colleagues becomes infected by whatever was behind the massacre on that jet, Dunham takes drastic action to save his life – and for that she needs screwed-up child prodigy Peter Bishop (Joshua Jackson) to get his estranged, mad scientist father Walter (John Noble) out of an institution.

The pilot really is a rollercoaster ride, full of action, double-crossings, great dialogue and the troubled father-son relationships we’ve seen in Lost. If the full-length series can keep up this momentum, we’re going to be very happy bunnies indeed.”

Here is another preview for the episode:

J.J. Abrams talks Fringe on www.tv.com

Posted by Tommy On September - 7 - 2008

“Fox’s Fringe is the most anticipated show of the year. TV.com gets the inside scoop straight from the source–the show’s producers.

Every fall television season has one heavy hitter that stands out above the rest. The can’t-miss hit that’s sure to be a ratings smash. The kind of program that restores faith in those who think TV is going down the toilet. A show that viewers don’t TiVo–they watch it *gasp* live. Unless you are a teenage girl (in which case The CW’s 90210 is your anticipated program), that show this year is Fox’s Fringe.”
